Our Solar Installation Process
STEP ONE
DETERMINING SYSTEM SIZE
We’ll first ask you to provide us with a copy of your utility bill so we can determine your expected energy usage. We will also ask if you plan on making home improvement upgrades that may affect your usage, such as a new heating and air system or a new EV charger.
The size of your solar system will be determined by your energy usage. We want to be sure to size your system a little more than what your home typically consumes.
STEP TWO
SITE SURVEY
After we determine the proper system size for your family’s needs, we will come out and conduct a site survey. During a site survey, we’ll do an inspection of the home, evaluate the layout of the electrical wiring, and determine a plan of action for the installation.
STEP THREE
INSTALLATION PROCESS
Depending on the size of your solar system, the installation typically only takes one day. Our certified solar technicians will first start with precisely measuring your roof and installing the racks which the panels will lay on. Next, the electrical wiring will be installed and connected to your electrical panel. Finally, your solar panels will be set into place on the racks.
STEP FOUR
APPROVAL TO OPERATE
After your solar system is installed and before you start reaping the benefits, you must receive your final permit from the county and a final approval from the utility company to operate your system.
Rest assured, we will take care of the final permitting and approval process with the utility company on your behalf.
